Terms of Service

Ear wax Removal via micro suction and electronic irrigation is considered safer than other methods, such as syringing. The ear wax removal will be carried out by a trained clinician working to protocols set out by the Ear Wax Removal Clinic TM.

Complications of ear wax removal caused by micro suction and electronic irrigation are not common, however some possible complications, side effects and material risk inherent in the procedure include but are not limited to: incomplete removal of earwax requiring a return visit (for severely impacted wax); minor bleeding; discomfort, ringing in ear (Tinnitus); perforation of the ear drum and hearing loss. To ensure the risk is minimized, it is essential that you provide the clinician with an accurate past medical history.

Statement of Consent

Additionally, the patient must remain relatively still during the procedure as sudden movement may significantly increase the risk of ear drum perforation, permanent hearing loss and/or bleeding.

By agreeing to the terms above you accept that you have read and understand the possible complications and agree that we cannot be held responsible for these.

If an infection is uncovered during the procedure, the clinician will stop and refer you to your GP. A return visit will be charged at 50% of the treatment price.
